A sense of social responsibility is second nature to our pupils. We encourage a range of community service and charitable activities, both within and outside school.

We never cease to be amazed by our pupils' effort and ingenuity when it comes to fundraising. FromJunior School social responsibility. Winter comfort Woolies dressing up days to playground sales, the ideas and enthusiasm from our pupils is most impressive.

Our school council approve the charities and events to be supported throughout the year. Recently, we have raised funds for local charities, such as Jimmy's and Winter Comfort, national organisations, such as Coram and RNLI, and global initiatives, such as Save the Children.

It's always the playground sales that are the most popular. With a theme in mind (anything from All at Sea to Maths Integrated Learning Week) the pupils create and resource activities and challenges. It's a fantastic opportunity for the children to put their collaborative and creative skills into action and have fun at the same time.
