Looking beyond their own lives and helping others is second nature to our pupils. We encourage a range of community service and charitable activities, both within and outside school.

We never cease to be amazed by our pupils' effort and ingenuity when it comes to fundraising. FromJunior School social responsibility. Winter comfort Woolies dressing up days to playground sales, the ideas and enthusiasm from our pupils is most impressive.

Our school council approve the charities and events to be supported throughout the year. So, we've had dodgeball for the British Heart Foundation, wet sponges thrown at teachers for Water Aid and moustache wearing in support of Movember!

It's always the playground sales that are the most popular. With a theme in mind (anything from Shakespeare to the school birthday) each form invents, resources and runs games and challenges. It's a fantastic opportunity for the children to put their collaborative and creative skills into action and have fun at the same time.

"Wacky Hair Day, the cake sale, aerobics for Barnardo's ... I love them all!"
